What's cooler is the Team rep that brought the boat up for the comp was talking to me saying how smooth he thinks my boy is and how much he likes his style.
He also mentioned something about them not having a grom rider on their team anymore as well

Hey chp, I unplugged the rca's from both the syn4 amps and unplugged the sub and put the bass tone on and it was reading around 91! I think it calls for 57.4. So i turned the boost all the way down and the input sensitivity down til it was at 57.4 AC. It wasnt very loud so I turned the boost up a bit to where it was pounding away and it sounded great and never shut off. I guess I must have got a little happy on turning the gain up the other week when we were at the lake Sorry to bug u with my stupidity

Youve got a vented enclosure, right? Go easy with the Bass Boost. Depending on your amp model and its features, you are either boosting a preset frequency by dB increments, or, you are are setting the frequency thats getting boosted by the remote dial. This can cause some negative sound effects due to the tuned frequency of the enclosures port.

I would probably turn the boost off.

Right on chp, Ill turn the boost all the way back down and turn the sensitivity up a bit more. The thing I hate about the JL slash amps is theyre kinda difficult to tune. The sub never distorts or anything because it can take so much power but theres so many settings and knobs on the amp.

Only to use on occasion if it even works out. I'm not trying to spout off that my son will get sponsored, just an interesting conversation is all.
That team boat is a 2012 230. That dash is actually pretty cool with no gauges whatsoever, I gotta say I like it.
But no as much as I liked the dash of the new Supra SA450. Oh, they have that exhaust so loud outside the boat. Sounds so freakin' mean! And it's actually quieter inside than my axis with the same motor. I loved it!
