Then the way I have to back my boat into my shop, or more importantly hitch it up to pull it out I come in at an angle. Often I have to lower the tongue down and then jiggle the hitch so it will latch. The auto latching would become manual quickly in many folks scenario I think.

Either way, it's definitely a cool idea.
Hey ET and Dr, do you guys lower your towers every time to get your boats into your garages?

I lower my tower to get it into my garage, it only has an 8' door. But i measured my tower and it needs just a hair less than 10' to clear an opening, so a 10' door would work for me. I'm thinking about a garage door mod in a few years
