The board was better than I. the only other board I have ridden is a Blue Lake. The f18 is much more maneuverable and fun. I compare the difference to going from a cheap slalom ski to a medium high performance ski. You can try it next week.Originally posted by lancehon View PostHow's the f18 to ride, I'm in the market for a new board soon, the broadcast needs to retire

bummer Ewok - It's not fun having to do the job twice.Originally posted by Ewok View PostWell, I'm done working on the boat tonight. Turns out my boat has a 21' cable, not the 18' ones one the 07/08 ones in the steering cable thread. Luckily I pulled the old cable out withiut cutting it and found one of the serial numbers near the stern, 21 at the end. So I just put the old cable back in so I'm still drivable for the weekend. My steering requires some force but it's still one hand able for me, two hands for my wife, but much harder than dingleberrys.
So now when my new cable comes I'll be very fast at switching it out, it's really not that bad on this boat.

I got mine from SBFAN. Tige says it was supposed to be 18', I ordered a 19' to make it a little easier, but it's routed differently from the 07/08 RZ2s in the how to thread. It's routed forward of the kick wall under the helm before it goes into a hole with the fill hose for the starboard half of the bow sac.Originally posted by lancehon View PostWhere did you get your cable at? Mine should probably be the same I would assume
At least I'm not off the water this weekend, trust but verify.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.
