As your driving dump some weight in the back corner and see if that helps. With most of the boats we have done testing on curl close to the boat = too much weight in the back corner surf sideOriginally posted by Iwndr View Postwave looked good though I could not get the curl out about 10-12 back from the transom

ok so I wired the pump back where I had it the first time looked through my tool bag and I had no crimp on connectors in there
Well that was a slight set back until I remebered I had the Marine grade screw cap bag protectors, sure enough there were 4 down there that were not being utilized so I grabbed two of them. Got it back wired up and tried it again with no success, Well at this time I'm about ready to just take the pump off completely and let the bilge pump get rid of the water. Which is what I start. At the same time the wife says she wants to move the boat away from shore as we had just been drifting this whole time. I say ok and go back to taking off the pump when I get drenched by a wall of water coming over the back. Yes, she moved the boat in reverse with the enzo bag full and light chop
I came out from there pretty quick at that time and asked her to just use forward gear to move the boat around until I got this finished up.

Ok then I wen back in there to pull the pump and just let it drain into the bilge. When I had the pump out I had the wife cycle it and I could feel it humming a bit I started turning the impellar by hand and it would try and start, On the third time it took off as designed and I was very happy, I put it back together and it drained the sac

I've learned a lot about weighting the last year. I went from trying to build the biggest wave to building the best wave. I found that I like less steep waves which usually mean less weight but you end up sacrificing push in the process. The curl is bad because when you get your board back there the curl will push the board down.Originally posted by Iwndr View PostI will try that, thank you sir

Glad you got it workingOriginally posted by Iwndr View PostOk then I wen back in there to pull the pump and just let it drain into the bilge. I keep a T-1200 on the boat because if my sac was full and had a drain pump issue I could never get to the pump
