Yes...dual battery. Still not sure how the switch works...when It's on 1, is that my radio and acc battery? Or ?

Someone in your post suggested turning the key the other way? I don't have a 2 position switch, mine is either on or off.

Timmy after I finally calmed down I checked out that z3.

mine is off, 1, 2 or both. output of the switch goes to the starter...otherwise everything else is wired directly to the house battery - so switch does nothing other than determine which battery (or both) is used to start.

that's how I've got out of grilling, tile work, etc at home...wife thinks I'm incompetent so she takes over...but I might actually be so it's probably better that way
