Come to find out that my daughter has been bullied and others have reported it. The school has never contacted us and yet they have had her in the counselors office several times. It doesn't sound like they have done anything about it either.

I think I will call the principle and tell him that I will need a full report of what has happened and their plan of action tomorrow.

That is BS, I would do as you are and find out what type of explanation they have. Bullying is serious and I cannot believe that they have not contacted you after the first report. Is there another option for school. I would be very pissed also

She doesn't want us to contact the school, afraid that it will cause other problems. I will be letting them know if it gets out that we contacted them it will get ugly.

What would you guys do?

I would talk to my daughter about it and give her encouragement in the situation, let her know you have her back, and really talk about FB and cyber bullying, and let her know it's ok to turn off the computer, or at least spend more time on boat forums...

I would also talk to the principle as you plan to do and find out the extent of the bullying and the plan of action. Maybe try to find out who it is and call those parents, if you didn't know your kid is getting bullied then the parents might not know their kid is the bully. Maybe invite the whole family out on your boat so the bully can see how cool your daughter is.
