Get rid of your HU all together. Run your WS420 and iPhone as your head unit. Please don't tell me you have CDs...

I run with an Ipod. I would use my Iphone however the battery does not last long enough. I only listen to the radio when all else is dead. BTW my CD's stay in the house.
