I was at that jump site this past Janurary and it is a whole lot steeper in person than it looks on video or TV. The landing is almost straight down. Walked up and checked it all out close up. I pull my son on the tube using the pylon. I look at it like this.... If it can pull my fat a$$ out of the water, and continue to pull me. Then it should be able to withstand 1/4 of the weight tension that my son puts on it while tubing. Is my logic distorted on this?Originally posted by Wakeman22 View PostI wonder what Tige would say when they get flooded with complaints of ripped out pylons.

Have you read WA's threads? He claims there is tremendous amounts of force put on what ever device is used to hold a tube. From personal experience I felt more force when my buddy, small dude, was slalom skiing then I ever did with 4 kids on my tube.Originally posted by hyphen79 View PostIf it can pull my fat a$$ out of the water, and continue to pull me. It has been said that the pylon will rip out, not many pics of that have been posted and you would think you would see it here.

I think anyone who pulls a tube has already tried it anywayOriginally posted by Wakeman22 View PostI wonder what Tige would say when they get flooded with complaints of ripped out pylons.
X2, and even with a tow hook on previous boats I try to stop or at least slow down while pulling a submerged tube...Originally posted by hyphen79 View PostI pull my son on the tube using the pylon. Yep, I've yet to have a normal tube jerk the boat off track like slalom skiers doOriginally posted by skippabcool View PostHave you read WA's threads?
