Sad day for me. Just sold my favorite surf board, my 2007.5 Inland Yellow Loogey I paid $300 for it 4 years ago and sold it for $240...not a bad recoup!

Visually you won't see much difference. The amont of push the wave will create is where the difference will be. It seems silly the 250 pounds would make that much difference but I played with it a lot last summer although I used lead.

What is your water temp this time of year? I have no idea what it is in Spokane, I'm down in OK and the lake was 62 yesterday, not bad at all.

I keep trying to talk myself into buying a dry suit. About the time I feel comfortable de-winterizing the boat is when I can manage with a wetsuit.
