Will it be a floating dock or fixed? If so, what are you using for floatation? In WA there is a company that uses large cedar logs which last for 20-50 years.

Floating. I am using Permafloat enclosed/encapsulated foam floats. The enclosures are roto-molded and then filled with foam. I got a deal on 6 last summer and only had to buy two more to get it going. Lumber being delivered tomorrow.

No, Trex sux in my opinion... 5/4 Pressure treated is what it will be decked with

Must have taken that pic over a year ago. The docks are actually in water with boats tied to them. I extended my dock out further last year and could use it till July 4th and that was it. We sure need the rain. I have always loved your deck and bar set up Phil. It's sweeeet

That is 3 or 4 years ago on the one shooting down towrdas your dock... I can tell because the railing on the real deck work there is not finished
