Yeah - they were the cheapest. A little over $1000 for the family. I could live with that, considering the time savings.

But the killer was the rental car while we are there. To pick up a mid-size SUV or minivan at SEA, and return it 10 days later at PDX was going to run between $1000-$1500

Yeah. Oh, another cost if we were to fly is shipping or paying to fly her bike both ways. By driving, we can just take all our bikes on the hitch rack...and then the kids have their bikes, too.

As you pass right on through Reno / Sparks. The first off ramp in Reno is going west, is Vista, I am 8 miles north right off of that road, and there is about 15 "watering" holes to hoe at from there. HAHAHA! Just make sure not to loose all of your money at the gas station slots or the slots in the pharmacies.
