If its the factory Tige cover, it is designed to be a tow-able cover. Did it come with the support pole with webbing to run bow to stern to support? The OEM cover had ratchets to tighten it down and two buckles that looped through the stern lift eyes to keep the back of the cover from riding up.Originally posted by hyphen79 View Postok my tige expert buddies..... I am looking to get a new cover for the boat. The one that came with it from the dealer sucks A$$! I would like to get one that is towable. What? Guy wants $70 for a platform cover that is so generic (big) that it can fit anything?Originally posted by ajholt7 View PostI wonder if this is any good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-Boat-...-/250991017389
AJ - have you checked with Tige for a factory one? Or several Tige dealers? I picked up one from TN Tige when they were closing out...think I paid like $40 for one that fits perfectly. I think probably quite a few dealers have some in the back, because they forget to give them to the boat buyer (I know that mine wasn't given to me when my boat was delivered).
Why would you want a footprint shaped rug with "Tige" on it? Who thought that a footprint was a good idea?Originally posted by ajholt7 View Post
For the sharkskin, that's probably about right. Evolution is probably not any cheaper.Originally posted by hyphen79 View PostDealer here wants $750 for the tige cover. That seems a bit much, right?
Go to local upholstery shop and find out how much it would cost to have them fabricate a custom one with Sunbrella. Might even be cheaper...

My Tige cover has been great and have towed many miles with it on. My next one will be made locally by Evolution covers but I am going to try to get one more year out of the one I have.Originally posted by hyphen79 View Postok my tige expert buddies..... I bet $800 is about the right number for an Evolution and I have been told they are the best.
