I'm still deciding if I want to keep them for future resale purposes but the next boat I buy probably will have different ballast options anyway so it would require different sacs than my 22ve, that's what I'm hashing out now. And the next boat I buy won't be for a few yeas

Not a bad thing, no change in the hulls in long time and I'm still not convinced I would take a Z3 over a 22VE or RZ2.

I agree with you ET. I'm guess I'm not drinking the same cool-aid as everyone else that loves the Z3 It's a big boat and I kinda find the whole thing too busy for my taste. I'm happy to surf behind one but I wouldn't buy one

Well the new boat idea is out. After sitting down and doing the math of down payment required the cost of ballast sacs, new stereo it just isn't the right time. We really need to focus on keeping our outgoing debt down as we really need a bigger house and thats more of a priority than replacing a perfectly good boat that is already set-up the way I want.

So I guess for now I will continue to have the loudest Tige on the lake with a great surf wake to go with

It's no hurry. If you decide to keep them I will just get some sacs for back there. I really want that extra 250 in the back corner.

You can leave the tanks and relocate the batteries, or pull the tank and move the batteries back against the transum as they would be in a Ve with no ballast.

Believe me I wouldn't go though the work of getting that extra 250 back there if it wasn't worth it. I did a test last year with 250lbs of lead back there and there was a difference.
