I have never had snow tires and have lived in UT and CO as long as I could drive. Never had a problem.

Do you at least have knobby all terrain tires on your truck? They are just about as good as snow tires. The highway gas saving all season tires that come standard with the 4runner limited were not very good in the snow. I grew up in PA and lived in ND for a few winters and I just don't chance it.

I'll be rooting for the Giants. My wife literally grew up in the shadow of giants stadium in Lindhurst, NJ. She is happy and excited so through proxy, so am I. I would have loved to see the broncos there.

Most run all seasons in the Rocky Mountains, The rubber on snow tires is too soft and wears out too fast as we have the need for them 9 months out of the year. but then again they still sell them here

Snow tires are amazing. I have Hankook Ice Bear's on the Mustang and that thing has only been stuck one time in 6 1/2 years and that was because the snow tires were at their end. I had the BFG All Terrain's on my truck siped but they still suck in the snow compared to the Nitto Terra Grapplers.
