Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

Sure is.... I heat up the base to open up the pores. Then I use the iron to melt the wax. Then spread the wax with the iron. Then I use the heat gun on low to make sure I have god coverage.

I never owned a heat gun until I started planning for the ballast install. I had it sitting in my garage a few weeks ago when I was waxing up the boards. It was taking a while for the wax to melt and I thought it would be a good idea so I tried it and it worked great. I wish I had figured it out sooner.

I got the idea from the guys from Eternal board shop here in town. The owners was like, DOOOOD you are doing the hard way. HAHA! I started using it last season.

You guys and your snowboards. I have never tried it. I love snow skiing, but we just don't have a good place to go.

The nearest ski hill has only been open about a well this whole winter, it is just too warm to make snow. Haven't waxed my skis on two years.

Several hours from Berea. We go to Paoli Peaks in Paoli, IN.
