On a side note in researching I was surprised to find that this or very similar is a problem on all makes of 4 wheel drive unless you have manual locking hubs or something similar. Yes, even Fords.

4 to 6 weeks

I got my 4 wheel drive fixed. $100 and 3 hours. Would have been quicker but I had to redo a part.
