I had one 5 years ago. Never really used it, except put money in it. The incentive was that they gave us money to put in it plus I put in what I would have put in to pay for my premiums if I didn't have a HSA. I didn't care for the way that the account was ran. We had to use Mellon. they charged for everything. In the end I got a different job, had to have my appendix out and used what I had saved to cover that.

If you are healthy they are good, from what I understand. Or if you can negotiate with your Dr's.

It's an option that we're looking at, but the premiums are high. With a HRA the premiums are even higher.
