I've got a MacBook out here, she has a new iMac at home, FaceTime is amazing, it kicks the $hit out of Skype, much better picture and audio. And we go full screen on the 27" iMac at home so the kids get to see my head life-sized!

iOS5 is great too, you can send and receive text messages on wifi only, which is great for me since there is no ATT roaming in the 'stan. It would be crazy expensive anyway, but now texting over here is free on wifi, and there are quite a few free wifi spots here.

At work and filled up with Diesel at 3.55 a gallon right before they raised it to 3.65.Regular is 3.19 a gallon.

I did a cost comparison with one of my friends who has a 2010 diesel jetta, I have the gas version. He gets roughly 40mpg and I get about 30 and I figured he was spending $00.115/mile and I was spending $00.120/mile due to the higher cost of diesel fuel. I heard an explanation once on why diesel costs more in the US than gas but it still does not pass my sanity test that the less refined fuel actually costs more at the pump.

It's supposed to be because the more you refine oil the more quanity you end up with.
