Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

She thought that this would be a several thousand dollar upgrade, so I might have a chance if it doesn't get too expensive.

Me either but I am going to make some adjustment's this winter. I am not adding crossover's as I dont see the point of all the extra hose, fittings and pumps to pick up a couple of minutes

My wife and kids are impatient and I was thinking if I had a hose with two ball valve shutoffs I could help transfer some of the bags without the hassle of installing pumps. Of course I have not installed any ballast equipment ever, so I have no idea if I'm doing almost as much work as installing transfer pumps. Big ballast systems have been around for a while too, and as I was piecing together info to plan this project, I was wondering why other ballast systems don't have any tranfer mechanism. I guess the reason was there was not a huge need to shave a few minutes off a drain/fill time.

I actually like Skippa's ballast idea! Would me similar to MB's kinda sorta.

Do you have any ballast in your boat? I'm trying to do mine with the least amount of work and the lowest cost to get the biggest bang for the buck. I don't care too much about transfer times but I thought adding an extra hose is an easy add and a little bit of a help. I hope my thread helps the two of us flesh out a good plan.
