I boated up till the middle of Oct. last year. It would have been longer but I had to go on a business trip for a couple of weeks and didn't want to risk the weather dropping and me not being there.

Our lake is a reservior so come september the depth is 6 to 7 feet below full with lots'o stumps just waiting for you. So we usually call it a year 1 to 2 weeks after Labor Day.

We went til the weekend before Halloween last year. Prior years we have been stopped short at Labor Day or the weekend after. You never know what you will get here!

Same here but our over night lows are in the low 40s and high 30s now. The water temp dropped like a rock. I heard it is in the mid 50s now.

Same here! Water temp was 67 though. The private lake that I belong to is out of water. Not completely but the boating area is so small that I don't consider it usable.

Get yourself a wetsuit/drysuit and you can push the season out a month on both ends - best purchase ever! My first time out was the first week of April this year and the water temp was 54 as I recall.

Yeah I should. My old boat had a heater. Is it hard to install afterwards on Tiges? On our Toyota it took 10 minutes to install the tubes.
