I would guess the pickle is more fashion than function right? I seen some video of the pickle bu this morning and the wake looks steep but I know nothing about wakeboarding

It's a new hull, so the wakeboard wake is what we are interested in trying before making a decision. I think I would like a little bigger boat, so we'll see.

If wakeboarding wake is what you are after, I would test out an MB 23' (B52 or F23 Tomcat). The wake on them is amazing!

Not the F23 Tomcat. It's harder to dial than the 21. For the TWB, take your pick. 21 or 23.

Believe me, we are not disappointed at all with the VLX wake. MB is not an INT League sponsor and with no local dealer it would not be an option anyway.

Sorry to rub it in... Going out tonight.

Ugh, my 9 year old is at this plateau though. He's nervous about trying his 180s and therefore over thinking it. The last three or four times out riding he's just been camping out on the left side of the wake starring at it, thinking over his toe 180.

I told him yesterday to forget the 180 now, it's too late to work it into his comp run. let's just focus on the tricks he has and lets go big with them. Hope he does that tonight.

I haven't been on the 21 but my buddies F23 Tomcat requires no dialing in at all, don't even have to move people. Just set the speed (no wake plate), fill ballast to desired level and go. Cleanest wake I have seen no matter what the conditions are. Just my experience.
