Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

My member price at my marina is $4.10/gallon. Gas station is only $3.79.

I wonder if the road tax is not included in the marina fuel? I heard there is a form in Calif. where I can get a refund for the road tax paid on gasoline? Particularly since all my vehicles are diesel, that should be easy to prove that all gasoline went in the boat.

Ugh - Sunday morning we filled the boat up at the marina's gas dock - 41.5 gals and $175. I think that was about four day's use of gas, and the previous time we had pumped in $150 worth.

At least we are getting more use of the boat. But damn I hate paying the price for their gas. And no way I'm going to haul multiple 5-gal cans all the way from shore to the lift each time. Blah.

I think it would give me BIG HERNIAS. It's a long arse haul from the parking area to the slip, though a busy marina full of people. Plus, if we did it, we'd have to haul the gas cans inside our Armada, haul them to the boat, haul the empties back to the vehicle and let them sit inside the car all day long in 100+ degree heat.

I think I'll just deal with getting raped on the fuel prices.
