is it legal to have someone riding on the swim platform when surfing?

Got a visit from the sheriff's boat again today. Different lake and different county than 2 weeks ago. Last time was because our friend's 11 year old son was holding the flag up while we were pulling tubes. I think he was just bored and needed someone to talk to - it was a quiet day on the lake that day. This time it was because we had a passenger sitting on the aft deck (not the swim step) with his feet on the rear seat. I guess that answers my question about riding on the swim step. Again the officer was very nice and polite and did a cursory safety check.

I saw Majestic out there, unfortunately I did not get the chance to ride behind that beautiful boat. Maybe next weekend.

It was a great day of surfing with our friends. The boat is just under 100 hours - so I've put almost 23 hours on it and could not be happier with it.

Sorry we didn't get to spend some time its not every day you get to have the Inland Surfer guys in your boat. We will get together next weekend at the surf comp it should be a great event.
