Hopefully it goes as smooth as last week. I kind of lucked out because some couldn't go last week and now some that were there last week won't be there tonight.

I have drilled into them that there is no screwing around. When I explain the boat rules I get some odd looks, some from parents, like I am putting them out. I want to say then you go get a boat and we will go by your rules. We have travelled to some camps in the past and I do not allow food in my vehicles. The parents were telling the boys that it was alright to eat in my truck. I asked if they were going to clean it. No, well there you have it no food or they can ride with you.

The cooler in Dr's Zee looks tiny. I guess that is one advantage of a 24-ft boat. Bigger cooler. Justifies the price difference.

Got my boat all waxed and clean yesterday though - in the 97* heat. My nephew did most of the hard work for only $20!

He's trimming bushes and digging up weeds that I let go way too long for me today.
He wants to buy a car. I found a sweet 300D for him for $500. By the end of summer he'll earn enough to buy it.

they are happy (usually) to lend a hand, but it takes me twice as long because I have to redo most of what they attempt
