Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

Same thing happened to mine last summer. Stupid crimped ends don't have a rivet or through bolt. New ones are supposedly different.

It looks like on mine that they metal is just nippled in a little. I had to replace one of the ends with a cap that use a set screw. I believe that the local dealer still uses a local guy for their bimini's. Actually they get the boats stock, like the new Z1, and then they add ballast, stereo, bimini, lights, etc..

But I really need a house. Living in my parents duplex is about to drive me to the crazy house. We bought 15 acres of land 3 years ago with the intention of building but that is as far as we have gotten. I could get this done quicker without a boat payment, but I love my boat.

At least your not living with your in laws. I have done that twice for a couple of months in between houses. I never wanted two houses at once so I would sale one then buy one. I guess they did help me out but oh what a long couple of months.

At least your not living with your in laws. I have done that twice for a couple of months in between houses. I never wanted two houses at once so I would sale one then buy one. I guess they did help me out but oh what a long couple of months.

I think that was why we lived with my in laws. My wife felt more comfortable with her parents.

Not me directly. The dealer here got the replacement parts from the factory, which didn't directly work. He then had a local guy modify them to make it all work. Meant that last summer I had no bimini, as it took them about 4 months through the middle of the summer heat before it was working again.

But, we did get a ground-level bedroom in our house just in case we were to ever need to take one or both in. Hopefully never need to do it, but we did plan for it as a possibility.

I've never done anything further through him. He never did respond to my DIRECT CALL. Maybe he felt that having his service guy talk to me was enough. But I've made the decision that I will handle everything from here out.

Engine trouble scares me the most, as there is no authorized PCM mechanic here in town. But the old dealer from whom I bought the boat suggested that I use the Malibu dealership if I can't get decent service from the Tige dealer.
