This has shutdown all the horse shows in Utah. I know that here in Colorado they have euthanized one horse and are watching another. They were at the Cutting show in Utah. There were over 500 horse there from all over.

No. I thought about getting into it. My horses are in Utah. I was mainly using them for riding in the mountains. I ended up showing some, but have not for about 6 years. Time flys. My twins were born and then I changed jobs and moved.

I showed halter seriously for about 5 years after I couldn't rodeo anymore. You think a boat is expensive...

Could be interesting because it sounds like it could wipe out a bunch of horses quick with no treatment.

I know in Utah they have even shutdown some small local shows. I did not think about the rodeo circuit. The summer cicuits are starting.

That is what I was showing. I had one mare that I showed from weanling to aged mare and did well with. I wanted to do more but just showing one took a bunch of time and money.

I had looked for a stud horse for several years and finally found what I wanted and bought one. I got one foal crop then moved. It is hard to do anything at distance I have now. I keep thinking that my situation will change and I will get them close but I think I am dreaming. I just need to bite the bullet and sell them.

The part where he wants more participation or getting ranches involved?

More participation in shows needs to start at the top. The judges.


Getting working Ranches involved is going to be tough...
