There are some part numbers in this thread.Originally posted by Fiveflat View PostHey, I called my local boat shop and asked if they have an impellar for my boat and he asked me if it was on the engine or the output shaft. What?

Well, I google imaged that mercruiser part number and that's the one he showed me when I showed up there. Guess I should head back today and pick it up...
I saw some other photos in the forum here that showed some impellars that were splined instead of keyed so I got concerned...Waiting for another good one!

If its the one with the composite housing, look it over inside REAL good for excessive wear grooves and scoring and cracks. The housing kit is only about $100, so its almost worth it to just replace if in doubtMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Yea, the "D" Shaft is what I meant when I said 'keyed'... Anyway that's what I'm getting - the whole body kit. It's $105 OTD.Originally posted by chpthril View PostMerc also had one that was a "D" shaft.

Good move! TRD was eating impellers so I told him to look at the inside. He posted pics and it was scored bad and was blue. he has not blown an impeller yet.Originally posted by Fiveflat View PostYea, the "D" Shaft is what I meant when I said 'keyed'... seem like the only thing the output shaft should drive is the prop.
