Mine are bolts. I swear they would only go out and not in. I am going to have to double check them.

Ok, I'm headed back to the garage to check. I know that I tried several times to get them to lock in. I wanted to tow that way when I bought it and drove it back to CO. Also to fit in the garage. I just took the whole piece off.
