We keep our own cooler right behind the driver's seat. Accessible, out of the way, and acts as a nice step for entering/exiting.

Plus the problem with the LXI is that the jump seat covers up the cooler when the seat is in the walkway. (which is where we always have it)

Like the cooler in the Tige was just wasted space and the cooler in the Malibu is where we store all the docking ropes

Not for us! Ours was filled with ice and drinks every trip out. I loved the cooler, but I am glad they moved it as the observer seat was not the best location.

Yeah, in DD, there is not a bench seat behind the driver like there is on the V-drive.

Not for us! Ours was filled with ice and drinks every trip out. I loved the cooler, but I am glad they moved it as the observer seat was not the best location.

I guess for us since we had to tow atleast an hour for every trip it made more sense to pack our own cooler. Then it's just a waste to transfer it all into the observer's seat. Then people have to stand up off the seat every time you need a drink.
