Big fire burning close to where I live. I am close to the area that they have evacuated. Hope the wind stops and it starts to rain.

I am a little to the North and East. It is so dry here. I have been watching it on the news and to see what it does in just a couple of seconds is amazing.

Do you have sprinklers to turn on around your house? Or are you restricted so fire dept can use water pressure for fire fighting? That fire looks close in that picture. Good luck tonight.

You can see how dry the ground is. The fire is a little ways up over the hill. It might be about 4 - 5 miles away. Seems far but is not really that far. The wind has been blowing about 35 mph.

No sprinkles. They don't like us using all the water for the grass.

He was working at the time returning a customer car. The owner has insurance, but not sure who is liable at this point. Car owner or auto shop or driver?

Since hew on the clock, his employers Garage keepers and general liability policy will take primary. If I were the owner of the car, I would NOT in any way shape or form file the claim on my policy.

If the fire is that close and wind is blowing your way I'd pack up the boat and other important items and be ready to get out of dodge.
