I don't know what it is called but it different than any of my cars. You just barely turn the key and let go and it cranks till it starts. I do not know if that is part of an auto choke. It was kind of cool for me when I got mine because the key was broke off so I had to use the top have to try and turn it. As soon as it gets turned so far it takes over. I don't think you can hit the starter with it running either, but I haven't tried.Originally posted by dingleberry View PostWTF? I've never heard of it. And certainly never tried it on my boat. If I try it, and the engine doesn't have that feature, will I blow up my engine?

ugh...kids little league starts practice this week. Games start in 3 weeks. Not sure how long the season is, but with games on Saturdays, wife is probably going to request Saturdays off work, then work Sundays, and I'll hardly get the boat out on the water...just like last summer.
I gotta find some others around here to come with.

When my brother was looking for his boat we kept seeing an add of a guy that had a boat but no one to go with. He wanted some to drive and ride, half and half.Originally posted by dingleberry View Postugh...kids little league starts practice this week. Games start in 3 weeks. We had a parents meeting for soccer last year that if we were coaching from the side lines or even yelling, positive or negative, are sons would be off the team.Originally posted by dingleberry View Postugh...kids little league starts practice this week. I have been half tempted to see if they would kick us off so we can have some free time.

I don't think I'll resort to an ad, and I just heard from a guy with kids that lives a couple streets away who is looking for rides. Annoying part is that last summer, a couple times I setup a couple people to come, then they cancelled last minute. Aargh.Originally posted by skippabcool View PostWhen my brother was looking for his boat we kept seeing an add of a guy that had a boat but no one to go with. My kids would love to drive the boat. But rangers may not appreciate a couple of 8-year olds driving on the water.Originally posted by skippabcool View PostI have to keep on good terms with my wife so she will drive to launch the boat, drive the boat so I can have a turn riding, and back the trailer in to be picked up.
I think I will teach my oldest two to drive the boat this year.
