Took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get home from work. I drove the car without watching the weather. We got 2 inches of snow and the old rear wheel drive Merc sucks in the snow.

I'm getting ANGRY, just found out the car will be a total loss. I've been looking but there is no way I'll be able to find a car as nice and mechanically sound as my G was. Iwndr what's the point of keeping a car in great shape and whats the point of insurance if they don't give you back what you lost?

I am thankful that I am not hurt and the car did protect me well, I'm just going to miss her.

Unfortunately with buying the boat, the house in Spokane I'm stuck getting a car for the same amount as the insurance check, I hate car payments and I'm not starting one now.

Don't accept that check until you negotiate it up! Was the accident your fault? If not, it's the other guys insurance and you should get top of the book value if your car was in perfect shape.

I haven't gotten the insurance offer yet but I will be negotiating it up for sure. It was definitly not my fault, I got hit from behind. I left plenty of room in front of me to avoid the car spinning out in front of me. Unfortunately the person behind me did not have enough room
