Not sure I can help in that battle. I would think the VLX would compare better to the the Z1 and LSV23 to the Tige 22's, but all are still different boats.

Wasnt sure if you could shed some light on his post about what the Bu dealer told him about surfing with the wedge. I read alot dont use it and some do. I could remember if it was up or down when we surfed.

We did not use it that day...like you said some do and some don't. Counting the short session we did that day I may have surfed that boat a five or six times.
