It's time! If they are old enough to walk they are old enough to ski. But realistically, if they can understand you and talk a bit and like playing in the snow then they are ready. I'm going to try to get some kid ski's tomorrow for my daughter, she was 2 in November. She probably won't get off the bunny hill this season, she might not make it down the bunny hill this season, but I want to get her comfortable on skis. I'll be using that leash thing to hold her between my legs and help guide her along until I feel she is standing up and trying to turn on her own. There are several guides on how to teach kids to ski, I was a ski/snowboard instructor when I was in college and I have waited a LONG time to teach my kids to ski. If you haven't been an instructor I recommend you call and find a ski school that takes kids that young, most do but there are a few that don't.Originally posted by ajholt7 View PostWhat age do you start teaching them? That will be epic, I'm still relatively new to this site but who is JIT? Seems like all he does is peddle advice for people to buy different marine products. It also seems like his knowledge base is the product information pages from the vendors websites, has he been better in the past?Originally posted by dingleberry View PostWow.
