So what about this.... I get the pyle unit and power the speakers on it. Then use the sub pre outs to power either a premade powered sub or make my own with a mono amp.
Basically what you said before.Common Sense is not so Common

If all you wanted to do was listen to stored music, all you need is an MP3 and plug it right into the amp's imput RCAs.Originally posted by zad0030 View PostSo if I were to wire it up with a battery etc, and a 4 channel amp, I would still need a head unit or some sore of preamp right?
Yes, that Pyle, or similar, will power the mids and has an output for a sub amp.Originally posted by zad0030 View PostSo what about this.... I get the pyle unit and power the speakers on it. Then use the sub pre outs to power either a premade powered sub or make my own with a mono amp.

Now, depending on what you wanted to really do, and what you budget will allow, you could power a pair of components off chnl1/2 and I believe you could power a non-powered sub bridged on the other two chnls.
problem is, there is not a lot of info given with that Pyle unit, so i'm just generalizing here.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
