I pulled that pic from that post, it was about his shackles reversing when the trailer was empty, not exactly the same situation. I was just perplexed as to why it started to lean forward on the trailer and unlevel the shackles. When I jacked up the tongue the shackles leveled out, but I had 2000 miles of towing where this was not an issue. Just wondering if the knowledgeable and verbose whores here hand any similar issues pop up.Originally posted by AdaminMN View PostEwok, I've seen someone post something similar to that on TO before.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

I would recommend not letting that happenOriginally posted by Ewok View PostI pulled that pic from that post, it was about his shackles reversing when the trailer was empty, not exactly the same situation. You did not hit a curb did you?

I have not had that happen to me yet.
On another note, The rum is tasting extremely tasty this evening

Ewok, I use this hitch and have good luck with it when I swittch it between the wifes expedition and my F150Originally posted by Ewok View PostI was driving home today and noticed on some rough roads a vibration on the trailer. When I pulled over I noticed the top of the shackle on the leaf spring was resting on the bump stop on the frame of the trailer. I had towed the boat over 2000 miles now and this is the first time I've seen it do it. I watch the trailer in the mirrors all the time and that's how I noticed it, but I never noticed it before.
Below is not my picture but I posted it to show the top of the leaf spring shackle. When I got the boat back to the house I jacked up the tongue with the trailer Jack and the spring shackles seem level now. I plan to get a hitch with a 3" lift on the ball to tow the boat in the future but has anyone had his sort of problem before?Attached Files"Failing to prepare is preparing to fail" John Wooden- Rest in Peace
