I just sent Jean a PM about the cover that I bought from Tige that did not fit.
Has anyone ever bought a cover that did not fit?

The factory cover that came with the boat fits great. Except for those gaping openings around the tower legs. But - I'm going to get them modified to get a snug fit when I get the MB-8's installed

The cover that came with my boat fits perfect, The one I got from Tige gear for a 08 Z1 w/ E series tower fits the front tower supports perfect but the cutouts for the rear tower supports are about 8" too short.
There is a tag on top of my tower that says it is a E series tower for Tige 22VE. That must be the problem. I could take it to my canvas shop or send it back I will see what Tige says

The boat sat out for two years in Kentucky with the cover on it. It is faded, not water proof any more and has mold stains on it.
It fits good though, just basically useless
My Z1 does have the E series tower, the cover says it is for tige Z1's with the E series tower. I figured that they only put one E series tower on Z1's, I figured Wrong........
I will probably try to get Jean to take this back and get a custom snap on cover installed

Try to get a custom cover made with the strap around it. My last boat had snaps all over it for 3 different covers we had made for it. The snaps break off, crack the gel coat and are generally a PITA to maintain. So far I love the cover on my RZ2 with the ratchet strap around the boat. If you are going to have a custom cover made, get the snappless ratchet style if you can.

Agreed, I had snap covers on my last boat and had to replace some snaps each year. I did like the look of it though. and it was a solid cover I could tow with.

I can tow with my cover very well. If I were you I would try to get a current Z1 cover from Tige, even though its made for the alpha Z, then take it to a cover maker and have them plug the Alpha Z holes and make new ones for the E series tower, if you cannot order a new cover for your E series tower. I really like my Tige Factory cover, it is very easy to put on and off.

Truck wars is heating up and morphing into to Elephant vs Donkey wars. I heard rumors of a donkey show in Mexico but I was never able to find it. I did see an Elephant at the SA Zoo though.
