I don't know... I hear people saying they still winterize and our winters BARELY touch 40*F soOriginally posted by Iwndr View PostYou don't have to winterize there do you? It would only be good for you prestarting and running it out at the begining of the new season
and we will occasionally go out in the winter too, so I'm a bit confused. I know a couple guys in my area go as far as shrink wrapping their boats in winter too...
Waiting for another good one!

I have some lead bags in the same areas and the bow. I am very happy with the way my wake is also.Originally posted by Fiveflat View PostOh yea....
Holy chit ese! [/accent] I didn't have any fatsacs but I did have a few lead bricks. I layed down about 550lbs between each vdrive locker and that was a nice nice wakeboard wake.
Then we didn't even bother shifting the brick around, just piled everyone on the port side and I surfed... Awe chit the surf wave was freakin' huge! I can hardly wait to properly weight this boat and really see the surf wave it produces!

If you have any concerns just pull the 6 blue plugs and drain everything. I could do in about 10 minutes...once drained put the plugs back in and you're ready to go.Originally posted by lohe View PostYa five if you never see below freezing temps and still take it out once every month or so no need to winterize. If you have some nights that are going to get below freezing you can throw a flood lamp in the engine bay to keep things "warm" so the water in your block wont freeze.

They are probably just doing it to preserve it if it's going to sit a few months, The antifreeze also holds back corrosion in the cooling system and the fogging coats the lubricated parts for the same reason. If you get it out every month or every other month and see no freezing temps you should be good to go without winterizingOriginally posted by Fiveflat View PostI don't know...
