Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

I am just waiting for the phone call of " well the trans just went out in my jeep and I am stuck" I am hoping if that does happen its not to far for me to drive and get it... I figured boat W/ 2 axle trailer its close to 5000-5500 lbs the 3500 LBS listed on the home page I believe is a dry weight.

Ya that's the primary reason we got rid of ours...trans was not in good shape. Hopefully all will be fine...it's his car that he's destroying...that's why you're paying him

Exactly I have a Ford Excursion w/diesel engine mine will be fine I was going to pick it up my self but didn't want to put the 3600 miles ( round trip) on my truck trying to keep the miles low on it. ( only at 55K )

I am just worried its unsafe do drive/tow and the boat getting damaged. I did get insurance on it before but what a PITA it would be if something does happen.

How much does that weigh? I had a 99 Grand Cherokee with a 6 and it absolutely hated pulling my '85 20ft inboard. That's when I just bought a bunch of gas cans to go buy gas and fill it, brought the gas to the boat. I'd be a bit nervous too...esp since he's got to pull that thing over the mountains. Our jeep didn't like to go up I-70 with a couple of snowboards...no idea how'd it work with a 3500lb boat behind it. But maybe his is magic don't want to scare you...it might just take him a while as he'll be doing 10mph up the passes.

I also unloaded that thing in the cash for clunkers last year...so his might be in a bit better shape.

It's probably the same Jeep, I'm sure that everyone destroyed those clunkers as directed.........
