easy definition: if the structure in which you sleep can stop a bear attack, then it's not really camping, just sleeping in a forest-based hotel

I enjoy our forest based hotel, I doubt it is bear proof though, I would not want to test that out, that's why I always look for tents to camp next to while in bear country

What up y'all, it's been a while, sorry for bein a stranger, I took the boat on a camping adventure, rained Friday night put the boat on the water Saturday morning and the fuel pump crapped out on me then the boat shop didn't carry the pump so the whole trip was shot, wicked fail

So much for hitting the lake today. Last night, with thunderstorms crashing around us, the forecast for this morning looked great from about 2:00AM to noon.

Woke up at 5:00, and storms were still around, but forecast still showed good weather for the lake. Started to load the boat.

By 5:30, the forecast had been changed to windy all day with possible thunderstorms. Put things back away and went for breakfast instead of the lake.

My dogs are lucky to be alive one of them chewed my wiring harness off the boat trailer,
they can chew up a lot and be forgiven but that is their final chance on the boat. Looks like I need to add another fence

Uh oh. I need to get a new harness and replace mine. The old one has cracked and is breaking apart. Where is the best place to buy a new harness?

I'm guessing boat mate for me as I have a boat mate trailer. I am going to patch it to get through the season and add it to my winter or spring projects list
