You actually just unplug the paddlewheel from the factory harness and leave it in place, so you could go back in a matter of minutes.

Not decided I will do it, but excited I can. I replaced the paddlewheel twice in the Tige over 300 hours and have replaced it once (warranty) in the Malibu in 150 hours. We go out with our friend "highrock" in his CC 210 with GPS and the speed is always nailed.
