I'm so annoyed at repeated problems with my depth readout, that I'm considering putting in an aftermarket one just to have a reliable reading. Anyone have a suggestion for brand/model?

I had to replace the one in our Tige...it was a Hummingbird.

Yeah. I find it bothersome that 90% of the time it tells me that we are at either 3 ft deep, or else 997 ft.

The 3ft reading kind scares you the first few times. After that, I just ignore it, and one of these days it will be correct (resulting in a propeller repair).

On the water at 8. Off at 6. 8 exhasted high school kids. One exausred boat driver. Tige ran flawless. 1 minor mishap as the surfrope ripped the strap of the Bimini cover. Ok 2 minor mishaps as on the last surfrun surfboard came up and hit surfer. Lots of blood for tiny cut above eyebrow. All is well.

While drinking beer and applying Babe's Boat Brite...don't get the two confused.

The taste of boat brite can be washed away, but getting the beer off the hull is quite annoying.

You will love it!!! Best place to ride anywhere on the Colorado River. Crisp clean water, don't worry about the bottom...it's deeper than it looks!!!
