It's still a huge lake, with many areas 200+ ft deep. But the total volume is down over 50% from full, I think. I don't understand the Colorado River system management, because Powell is filling up, Havasu and Mojave are both almost full, but they keep dropping Mead. Sucks.

That does suck. Fortunately for us, Norris is not connected to any other lakes. It was the first Tennessee Valley Authority Lake built during the depression but it isn't part of the Tennessee River like others. It is on its own. This helps it stay cleaner too, I think.

other lakes like Watts Bar you can take all the way to the Gulf of mexico via Tennessee River and Mississippi River.

Having had two marine power 340 hp engines now from two Tige's, the motor that both of you have will be perfectly fine. If you add more weight, just make sure you change the prop.
