I see, didn't know if it had some type of grip surface. You can ride it - it's as easy as getting up on wake or surf board. My son about got knocked out on a skate a couple summers ago. He had learned to go wake-to-wake and decided to try a wtw 180. When he landed it popped up and nailed him on the cheek bone, but luckily didn't take out any teeth or break his nose.

One of the main reasons to try skating is because I hate wiping out on a wakeboard...thought the skate might be a little less violent...guess I was wrong

Well, at least with skates you shouldn't be wrenching your knees in a fall.

I have 5 in there right now, all in the west two-thirds of the shop, and still have a 25x50 space to work in on the east side!

I would love to have a building like that....when we moved 6 years ago we were needing more family space. I had no idea we would own a boat; at the time I just wanted to store my Seadoo and BBQ cooker inside.
