Have you been using a fuel additive, like Metamucil. Supposed to help with keeping the shitting regular.

You should check to see if there is a NISMO transmission cooler or transmission case with cooling fins on the exterior of the case for the heat you have in NV.

We have the factory tow package w/ tranny cooler. And, as little as we tow it (especially now with the boat on a lift), I don't see myself spending the $$ to upgrade to something better.

I try to get my speed up before I hit the hill, then I keep just enough throttle to make it up the hill but not enough to downshift. The truck slows down a little and if it slows down too much I'll let it downshift but I'll keep it in that gear until I hit the top of the hill to minimize shifting.

I do the same as well. Seems to piss some people off when you do 90 downhill but only 45 up {smile}
