Just finished oil change on my Jetta. First DIY on the jetta for me, 6L of 5w-40 at 10.00 each liter, no wonder dealer oil changes cost 80.00 plus tax.

Oh yeah.... Mrs Hyphen's jetta (our 4th one) was / is expensive to change the oil on. When we bought the last one I paid an extra $500 for free oil changes and no maintenance costs. Best $500 I have ever spent on a car.

Back from boarding and surfing. Got cloudy and cool and we decided to pull the boat out.

In from a day at the lake. A little windy at first but did get a few wakeboard rides in as the wind calmed during a shift. Lots more time in surfing.
