I don't think it's a conflict of interest when you are helping potential owners knowing you are not a salesman. I think clinics are great idea...our dealer offered one for ladies last summer, but had a low response.

It's a challenge for me to get my wife in the seat and practice docking the boat, she just has no desire to learn. She drives great out on the lake and she backs the trailer in the water but has little interest in anything else.
