I do have some carpet that needs to be reglued in some of the storage compartments. What glue is the best to use?

Is it better to have wires that are pretty much the length you need or longer?

I always like to have a little extra wire. Makes for future service easy. Just bundle the wire up and zip-tie the extra against the main harness.

3M Trim Adhesive spray or similar, works fine for re-tacking small areas or corners that are coming loose. If they are on a panel, adding a couple staples works to further hold. If the carpet is on the gunwale, then hold pressure till it holds, but dont use staples or screws
