Im wanting to make a little bow filler coushion for the boat that the guy can upholster while its there. What would be the best wood to use? I was thinking 2 pieces of 3/4" something screwed togeather, then padded and vinyled and he will pleat it also

I think my factory bow filler cushion uses starboard like the rest of the seat cushions. But I would think a high quality plywood, sealed, should work fine. 2 layers of 3/4" seems like overkill.
