Had one on my '03 Avalanche. Went from 13mpg city to 14. I had the K&N FIPK one. Paid like $250 for it new and then sold it 7 years later for $75.

I put one on all my trucks, but also chip them so its hard to say what does what. Damn sure wouldnt hurt. I'd straight pipe it if you want to boost HP and MPG

From what I have read that is on par. 1 to 1.5 mpg gain. Plus a little quicker acceleration and louder

After a lot of research, 3.5 cubic ft net tuned to 32 hz should sound pretty damn good
